I went to college at a small Christian school in Birmingham, Alabama, called Samford University, where I got my degree in graphic design. Samford is a great school that has grown me up, taught me a lot, and given me incredible friends. It was around my junior year that God really started to put a passion on my heart for missions. I had the awesome opportunity to go to Kenya one summer, which is where my love for Africa began. From that, God has really been shaping that love and expanding it to a love for all the nations and the peoples of the world.
And a few little random tidbits about me… I love the Andy Griffith Show and watching movies. I collect cookbooks and love looking through them (so they must have pictures). My favorite Saturday morning activity is sitting outside with my coffee and a book. I tend to decorate with lots of things from other countries. I love dogs. I love the rain. I love to travel. I love taking pictures. I love trees but I’m not necessarily a tree-hugger. Multi-grain Cheerios are my favorite. I enjoy being lost–it’s always an adventure. Cobblestone streets are amazing. I only use big spoons, not the small ones. I’ve fallen in love with Thailand and orange thai tea from 7/11.
