So!! Just to update yall..
Its official-My squad has a name! Squad D!
They are so awesome. We have already grown so much as a family! That’s totally God right there…its amazing that we all get along so well all ready! That was a big prayer concern of mine… that these people that I will spend 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year with…would be compatible together. Through our fellowship and conversations, I can see God all over it already. I’m sure I will get homesick next year but God is so perfect in already providing a second family and ensures that void will be constantly filled! …Thanks God.
Secondly:
I will be packing up my bags to head on over to Gainsville, Georgia for training camp this coming week! I will be there the 13th-23rd. I am sooo excited. I remember every time I went up to Minnesota for training camp with Praying Pelican Missions, that was always such an awesome time of fellowship, prayer and worship! I can not wait to experience that with my new family next week! A few things you can be praying about: I do not know a lot about camp other than we are bringing our gear and tents to try out. I have not gotten my sleep pad yet-I was more concerned about reaching my deadline than purchasing gear. Pray that I will come up with something before I leave! (Pool float, maybe? Ha!) I got to purchase a couple other things as well before then as well. There are not many outdoor stores around here..so pray that something comes available. (Or.. That I get educated on what to purchase! …cause right now? I aint got a clue!) However, my sister April is donating her sleeping bag and internal frame backpack for me to use. (Rock on sis!)
Pray that I will morph into a sponge at training camp. I want to absorb all there is to know! I can not wait to find out how we will be sharing the Gospel! Pray that this time will be a time of renewal, worship and praise. It is going to be so grand to actually spend time and get to know my squad mates! Looking forward to it!
Pray for school! As most of you know, I am a graduating senior this December…and training camp is right in the middle of midterms…ugh. I have been working myself so much trying to get caught up and prepare for exams ahead of time. Pray for my professors and for my course load. I am struggling as I prepare for the Worldrace and put on an entire Art Exhibition! It is a lot of work!

I will be trying some different methods of fundraising this week as well! I am selling BEAUTIFUL shirts for $20, the Samarian card for $20 and I am making a presentation at Westwood this Sunday! Be praying that these will be effective methods to get me into the nations!
