Last week at youth group they showed this video. It’s the perfect summary of my past year. As I listened to the words and watched the familiar clips from around the world flash on the screen I was reminded of the reason I am here. I was reminded of why I do what I do. For a moment I reflected on the past 11 months and the greatness of the God that I serve and it moved me to tears.
The past 11 months I have been so blessed to join in worship with over 11 different tongues and languages. There is seriously something special, powerful, and beautiful about a group of people worshiping the same God in their own languages. When I look back on the race some of my favorite moments were during worship. Something about it unifies me with the people I’m near. The language barrier no longer matters because we are brothers and sisters in Christ and it becomes even more real to me when we get to sing praises to our heavenly daddy.
"As surely as I live", says the Lord, "every knee will bend to me, and every
tongue will confess and give praise to God." Romans 14:11
