Hey everybody!

So I’ve been in India for approximately one week already. I’m in Bangalore, India doing work with a local ministry. So far we’ve done a lot. We make house visits, which is basically us driving to a neighborhood and going around visiting people and praying for them. Which means constant removal of shoes and lots of chai tea and crackers. It’s been great. The people here are in need of lots and the little bit of encouragement and prayer is so appreciated.

We also have visited the place that houses the rescued temple prostitutes. It’s safe, but secular, so it’s a gift to be let inside to minister to them. They’re wonderful! I met the sweetest girl, Puttie. She speaks a little English and is teaching me some of hers. Please lift up these women and girls in your prayers healing is needed.

We’ve also done ministry with House of Hope, which takes in the homeless. They treat them medically, feed them, clothe them, bathe them, and give them a place to live. They are free to stay there until they die. It was incredible. Next blog I’ll go into detail about it. We also did ministry at a nursing home, a school for the blind, and an orphanage. I’ll post more details about both of these, so stay tuned.

Sorry for the wait. It’s been difficult finding reliable wifi, so don’t worry if you don’t hear from me in a while. I’ll post when I can next get wifi.
