Question of the Day, What is God teaching you? Yea I know that’s a pretty broad question but it’s something all of us need to take time to meditate on. God is refining us more and more each day…..he is trying to tell us more about him and what he wants for us. This blog isn’t about anything that I’ve been doing but what God has been doing! GOD…..is teaching us something new all the time….all we have to do is pay attention….
He is teaching me how to listen. I don’t always have to have something to say. Sometimes people just want you to listen, or sometimes God is saying just listen.
He’s taught me that I’m selfish and everything doesn’t have to be about me. There are times when I have to think about what is best for the group or my family and not just for me.
He’s teaching me that his plan for me is greater than anything that I could ever plan for myself
He’s asking me how big is my faith
He’s teaching me that I don’t always have to have control of things; sometimes I just need to sit back and relax and let him love me.
He’s also teaching me that if I put him first the things that I normally worry me want worry me anymore.
He’s teaching me that kingdom living isn’t just talking it….it’s about living it.
He’s teaching me to love people through their process,
He’s teaching me what grace looks like on a daily bases
He is teaching me that when He looks at me he doesn’t see my clothes, my make-up, my arched eyebrows, or my shaved legs. What he sees is my heart and that’s all that really matters to him.
He is teaching me to appreciate the things that I have. Anything I need or want he will supply.
He is teaching me to love myself because I am princess in his eyes and that I should remember that.
He is teaching me that less words is sometimes better than having a mouthful to say
He is teaching me the value of a dollar
He is teaching me that when I thought I have learned everything I need to know there is still so much more
He is teaching me that when my steps are ordered by him I can be confident in where I’m going
He is teaching me that the people that you don’t click with normally are the people he hands picks you to be around for a reason, and to just pay attention so I don’t miss what he’s doing
He is teaching me that love can’t be placed in a box because it comes in all shape, form, fashions, and colors
He is teaching me what it looks like to be submissive
He is teaching me that you don’t have to physically have a child to be a mother
He is showing me more everyday what it looks like to fight against principalities and demons…and that it is a never ending battle until Jesus comes back
He is teaching me the worth of knowing his word for myself and using it as my armor, because even the enemy knows the word and he can use it against us
He is teaching me that Unconditional love comes without every asking the question what about me
He is teaching me that when I feel like I can’t go on those are the times when he is carrying me and those are the times when I need to put all the faith that I speak about into practice
I’m learning that it is okay to cry
I’m learning that even when you feel alone and you think there is no one that cares for you look again because others are taking notice of how you care for them and God will make sure that you are provided for in the right time
He’s teaching me that he wants me to be his instrument to change the lives of children in the United States.
