We had a fantastic weekend celebrating Dad & Mom Fangmann’s 50thbirthdays. Grandma Harris and Aunt Amy came down to celebrate with us. Mom was so surprised; it was fantastic, because we all managed to keep the secret from her. We thought since we were with some of the family, we’d let them help with this blog.
First off, Grandma let us know that Janet VanNess asked her at church if “we are going to let these kids do this (as in the World Race).” Grandma said in reply, “Can we really stop them?”
Dad commented, “I find the World Race to be Amazing.” He loves playing on words doesn’t he. “Life is hard; then there is the World Race.” Yes, another of Dad’s quotes.
Mom: “What are we going to do for eleven months without the advice of Molly and Ty?”
Joel asked, “Can I borrow your computer?”
Levi wants to know how we will ever manage in a tent for a year; he would never want to.
“I’m anxious to see all the realizations that Ty and Molly will have in this next year and I’m sure they will be a tremendous blessing to all the people they will meet.” Hope we don’t disappoint you Aunt Amy.
By the beginning of October, AIM has asked that we raise $7000. We are very excited to say that with all of your help, we have received a total of $8000 so far and this does not include any pledged money. Thank you so much for all your support. We are so blessed to have family and friends that are so willing to help us go spread the love of Christ.
