Hello again!  Seth and I have been busy this week, preparing for a trip to New Orleans for a wedding we are both in, support raising, and buying plane tickets!

We have taken a step of faith that God will provide the $900 we need, and on Wednesday, we bought our plane tickets to Ft. Lauderdale International Airport.  This is where we will meet up with the rest of our squad to fly to  Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  Once in the DR, we will spend some time training on the field, then we will take a bus over a mountain pass into Haiti!  We fly out of the country July 5th.
To guarantee  that  we will be on that plane to the Dominican Republic, we need your help.  As we mentioned, we need $900 more dollars, and we need it by Monday!  This money will get us to the deadline of $10,000 total needed to get on the plane.  $10,000 is approximately 1/3 of the cost of the trip, and will last us through the first 3.5 months.

There are 74 total people who receive this blog in their e-mails.  If every subscribed person gave only $13, then we would be at our goal.  If you feel led to give more, perhaps $26, to cover a subscriber who cannot afford to give, thank you.  We appreciate every gift, no matter the size.  If you have felt led to give, but have not yet, now is the time.  We have less than 76 hours to raise $900.

Also, this coming Thursday, June 17th, is our 4 year wedding anniversary.  A donation of support would be a wonderful anniversary gift to us.

We have many supporters subscribed to our blog, and we want to thank you
for supporting us.  No matter how much you feel led to give, we love you all, and are excited to share our journey with you.  If you want to support us with $13, $26, $52 or more, please click on the “Support Us!” link on the left of this page.

When we write our support blogs and facebook requests, we try very hard not to sound gimmicky or like salespeople.  This trip is for God, and God will lead people to give.  So if this has come off as a sales pitch, that was not at all our intent.  Asking for money is humbling, and we hope very much that we have conveyed the passion that God has placed on us for the nations.
