God has conquered the deadline that was set before us! We made the $10,000 mark, and we will be leaving for the Dominican Republic on July 5th!! Sorry it took so long for me to post this; we have been traveling for weddings, and putting on a garage sale.

I keep asking Seth “Doesn’t it just blow your mind? We’re going to Haiti!” He, being the laid back person that he is, replies with, “Yeah, I know.” lol. Recently, I have switched from “AHHH, we’re leaving the country!!” to “Oh my…..we’re leaving the country…” I only have 2 weeks to spend with the people I love. It’s gone from incredulous excitement to sadness, feeling like there’s not enough time. It’s times like this when I have to remember that I have been called to leave behind my family to follow Christ; and God is the ultimate comforter.
Thank you guys for supporting us, and please pray for peace over the next two weeks as we get last minute items, deal with banks, car insurance, and student loan companies, and set up power of attorneys and living wills.
