We loaded up our Honda with the bare essentials (clothes) of starting our new season of life in the south. We are currently residing in the basement of a woman who works at Adventures in Missions (AIM) – it is really nice and we are thankful for the chance to have a place to sleep and get adjusted to a new city and a new job. On October 1, we will be able to move into our rental home!
As hard as it was to leave our family in Michigan (and Florida too), we are glad to be in here, using our gifts and talents for AIM.
On Saturday, September 8, we celebrated year 5 of our marriage! It is just awesome to know that we are best friends and are on this journey together!
Our next big step is to raise our income! We need to raise $30,000 for the year!
While we were in Michigan, we were able to speak at Jamos’ grandparent’s church. The congregation was such a blessing and encouragement to us as we shared the last year of our lives on the race with them- and our plans for the future here in Georgia.
