We had the chance to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary this week (we were married on 9-8). I have to say, it is amazing to 1) realize we have been married for FOUR YEARS and 2) That we are in PERU to celebrate! We were able to take some time away to reconnect and celebrate each other and our marriage. This time away has also allowed us to also upload a lot of pictures to facebook! Tomorrow we start our journey to Bolivia. It is hard to believe we are entering month 3 of The World Race!! I have heard it is a nearly 60 hour bus ride in total to Bolivia….We are stopping in Lake Titicaca as a squad to reconnect with our 58 teammates. This is on the boarder of Bolivia- on the way, which will be a nice stop to get out and stretch our LONG legs!
Again, we are SO thankful for God's provisions for us. We are blessed- even in the hard times, even in the sick times, even in the dirty times, the Lord is working, changing, and molding us into who he wants us to be and how he wants us to change the world.
We are also VERY excited to tell you we are only a few hundred dollars away from being FULLY FUNDED!!!!!!! We are SO close to this goal and it is ALL because of YOU as our supporters. You have been generous beyond measure- words really cannot express our thankfulness. This only spurs us on to continue to work as hard as we can and get the most out of this mission trip as possible.
