Okay we’ve officially decided that after the Race we will be…

drum roll…………..

Well before we spill the beans about what the next step is for the Crains, we want you all to know about what some of our friends are up to 🙂

For the majority of M Squad the end of the Race means coming home, readjusting to American culture, finding new jobs, etc. But a handful of our adventurous friends are following the Lord’s call to move again – immediately. These people are brave enough to face a 6 week turn-around time from arriving in America to their next move. We are so proud of them and we would be honored if you would keep them in your prayers – these people are more like family than friends and their needs are our needs.

We would also like to challenge you to support them financially. I mean, imagine this – you just returned from an 11 month trip where you had to raise over $13,000 then you come home and during the holidays you’re trying to see family and friends you’ve missed, go to Christmas parties, and you’re trying to process through the last year of your life…with all of that going on and only 6 weeks of spare time you need to raise money again to help support what God is calling you to in January. Wow. Take a minute and pray about it. I bet if you ask, God will lead you to help support one of these amazing people.

Michelle Euperio

Michelle was our team leader this past year on the Race. She has a passion for fashion and her heart breaks for the victims of human trafficking. In January Michelle will head to Spain for a 6 month leadership/discipleship school called G42 where she will pursue her dream of starting a shoe company that benefits women in sex trafficking.

 
 
 
Lindsey is the definition of integrity. She’s a great leader and she encourages and challenges those around her to live a life above reproach. Lindsey leaves in January to be a part of Real Life – a short term trip that AIM has designed for college students. She will be leading a group of 18-21 year olds to India for 4 months.

 
 
Bill & Katie Swan

 

The Swans are great friends of ours – they were also the only other married couple on our squad. Bill is an innovative leader and Katie is a humble servant; together they are an amazing force for the Lord. They are a blessing to everyone they come in contact with. The Swans are making the move to Georgia in January to be a part of the Apprenticeship Program where they will be discipled under AIM leadership.

 
 
 
Besides being a brother to both of us, Michael spent this past year as a squad leader on the Race. He is creative and his attitude is contagious. Michael can get a group of people excited about anything, but he’s especially talented at getting people excited about what the Lord is doing. He will be joining Michelle at G42 in January as he seeks deeper intimacy with God and a clearer view of His plan.

 
 
Lauren Outcalt

Lauren is one of the kindest people we’ve ever known. She has never met a stranger and if you don’t love Lauren, you don’t have a heart. She is following God’s call to Georgia to be a part of the Apprenticeship Program and we know He has big things in store for her there.

 
 
 
Megan has a heart of gold and a colorful personality all rolled into one. She has a gift to empower those around her to believe in themselves like never before. Megan will going with Michelle and Michael to G42 where she will seek God’s plan for her future.

 
 
Noe Rivera

We were lucky enough to have Noe as a squad leader on our Race. He is one of the most encouraging and genuine people we’ve ever met. And now Noe will be spreading more encouragement as he leads his second squad in January. That’s right, Noe is going as a squad leader on his second World Race as he uses his passions to draw more people closer to Christ.

 
 
 
Lisa is a fireball of excitement and she worships selflessly. She experienced a ton of freedom this past year and is constantly looking for new ways to become more like Christ. Lisa is another M Squadder headed to Georgia for the Apprenticeship Program were she will fine-tune her already amazing leadership skills.

 
 
 
Courtney has an incredibly sweet heart and immediately makes you feel comfortable. She has had a passion for Africa since she was a young girl and that passion was strengthened on the Race. Courtney will become a part of the Apprenticeship Program as she prepares to serve more long-term in the continent that has her heart.

 
 
 
Our young Canadian friend stepped into leadership on the Race and rocked it! He is passionate about community. Chris is creative and is always thinking out of the box on how to impact people for Christ. He will be returning to leadership in January as he leads a Real Life group to Uganda.
 
 
 
Kristen’s heart breaks for people experiencing discrimination and this year her heart was especially broken for women in sex trafficking. She will be returning to the field in January for the first ever WR Human Trafficking trip. Kristen will be leading a group of women to 5 countries in 5 months as they fight this injustice.

Danny Stinson 

Danny is passionate [to say the least] about reaching people for Christ. This January Danny will be joining our other friends in Georgia as part of the Apprenticeship Program. He will be working and learning under AIM founder, Seth Barnes.
