The Batemans
Hi Everyone, My name is Darren and my wife’s name is Lyndie and we are so excited for what God has in store for us in the next chapter of our lives on The World Race.
Both of us were born and raised in Florida and have never lived more than an hour from a theme park or the beach, both of which we visit quite often.
We both love watching and playing sports(especially football and volleyball), fishing, camping, anything outdoors, cooking, “Friends” the tv show, traveling, fishing some more, going to the movies, scalloping, line dancing, all kinds of music, not exercising, and most of all our 2 dogs Maggie and Bailey.
We both were blessed to grow up with fun, caring, and loving family and friends. I have a pretty big family with 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and 3 amazing parents. Lyndie grew up with 1 brother and 4 amazing parents.
We first met line dancing and started dating around Christmas in 2007, line danced some more, and finally got married in May of 2011.
This is just a little insight for our Squad Family into who we are and what we like. A blog with how we came to our faith, our love for the needy, and how we came to the decision to go on the mission trip called The World Race is coming soon.
