Cambodia is a world of it’s own. It is technically considered to be a 3rd world country, and until we got to our ministry location that didn’t seem to be the case. But let me tell you a little about what life in farm land Cambodia looks like…

We live in a tree house
When you ask where the bathroom is, the answer is that it’s right next to the pigs
I get a workout every time I want to use the restroom (aka squatty potty)
My shower is a bucket of semi-clean water and that’s it
I get to experience the most beautiful SUNSETS

We have more cows as neighbors than people
It gets to be over 100 degrees here and we have no air conditioning, and sometimes no power for our fans!

We live with hundreds of chickens (almost not an exaggeration)
When Cory and I go for a walk, we can not have a full conversation because we are being greeted by every child in our village

I do my laundry by hand in a bucket of semi clean water
I get a mango smoothie EVERYDAY for only $0.50
I eat rice at every meal
The people here smile at me every time we pass by
Our first ministry assignment was a workshop for the youth in the village and over 40 people attended!

There are people being healed of illnesses and demon possessions DAILY!
We prayed for a woman’s hand to be healed and IT WAS!

I was able to pray with a woman today who accepted Christ!
