Worshiping the Lord is one of those things that everyone does differently. We sing out loud, we dance, we sit, we pray, we jump around, we cry, we giggle, we raise our hands, we close our eyes. I’ve done all of those things and seen all of those things. But tonight when we had worship on the balcony of the girls home that we’re living in I saw something that I never thought I would see… little 5, 6, and 7 year old girls praying over US and loving on US, and dancing with US!!

It started when one of the girls came out to see what we were doing and saw that we were raising our hands and singing to the songs that were playing. She wanted to do what we were doing. So she started walking around the balcony raising her hands and trying to sing along like we were. Then she saw that some of the World Race girls were going to other World Race girls and praying over them and speaking life over them, so she wanted to join in too. She grabbed one of the girls and just started praying in Thai over her!! The girl she was praying over started crying and praising God for this little girl whose faith and desire for God was deeper than most other adults!

More of the Thai girls started to come out on the balcony wanting to dance with us and sing with us and pray with us. The little girl that sleeps next to me (whom I love the most :)) came out and immediately jumped into my arms and wanted me to dance with her and sing to her. It was amazing seeing these little girls wanting to have what we have, wanting to do what we were doing. I started praying over her and proclaiming life and innocence and purity over her life while she was just cuddling up to me in my arms. It was the most beautiful picture of what God wants our worship to always look like with Him: to crawl into His arms, wanting everything He has, while He’s speaking truth and love over us!! It brought so much more meaning to coming to God as children do, loving children as He loves them. What a powerful thought!! This is only the first week and already these little girls have stolen my heart!
