The World Race has a PVT ( Parent Vision Trip). Some racers invite their parents to come for a week to do ministry along side with them. This trip lets the parents get a glimpse of what the race has looked like.

PVT was this past week. Reconnecting with our moms was so great. Tears of joy were shed when I saw my mom. This was a last minute decision for them, we found out in Montenegro that they were able to come. PRAISE GOD! All the last minute things fell into place with buying tickets & getting passports.

We did a few different things the past few days. We helped with an eyeglass ministry set up at a nearby village church. We were on the consulting tables, which we just asked them how they were, pointed them to Jesus, and prayed over them. Some of these people have had hard lives and are struggling so much. I really enjoyed doing that with my mom and right next to us Austin and Christi ( Austin’s mom) were also pouring into people.

Another day we just walked around an area in the little town we were in. We talked to people that we saw, passed out bibles and children bibles and prayed over people. One family invited us in for coffee and juice. Later that day, all the parents and racers et back up in a park and we sang worship songs. The Romanians who translated and who helped us also sang in Romanian. It was such a cool picture of being a church outside the walls of a building.

Our last day of ministry ( pictures below), a total of 1,000 bibles were passed out in an area the church is trying to invest in. We ran into a group of people about half way through, we ended up staying in that area for over an hour. As we talked to people, shared what we were doing, passed out bibles, played games with kids, were invited into a home to have some soft drinks, and just heard where people were at. I really enjoyed doing this with my moms. This was the worldrace to me. This is what happens when you just meet people where they are at. We were suppose to walk down a lot more streets, but we ended up just staying in one place. I loved seeing Christi and my mom just love on people and join us.

Over all our time was so good. I felt like they got a glimpse of what our lives look like. We were able to invite them into where we are at and what we are learning. I am so thankful that the Lord was all over this last week and prepared hearts.
