Imagine three hundred young people intently focused on the front of the room. Pens dance across paper as they try to capture the words of truth that spill from the lips of the man behind the microphone. He is saying only one thing, but each set of ears around the room is hearing something different as the Holy Spirit speaks through him to each individuals heart.

What Truth did God Reveal to Me at Training Camp?

I have always felt that my testimony is not worth sharing because it is extremely tame compared to many and lacks any element of rebellion against God and disastrous events

He spoke in to me, that just because I never had that crazy moment in my life when God transformed me, doesn’t mean that I’m not a new creation every day that I choose to follow Him and walk in His will. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I’M FOREVER CHANGED!

The challenge God placed before me moving forward is to remind myself daily of who God says I am, and to not let what the world says I am or wants me to believe is important (1 John 2:16) corrupt who he has intended me to be.

God told me that I don’t have to be afraid of judgment.

I don’t have to be afraid of what others will think of me when I share what I believe and know to be true. I don’t have to fear being judged when I lift my arms in worship or kneel on the ground in reverence of my Saviour. The devil has cloaked me in the lie that I will be rejected and unloved if I act a certain way, but God is slowly removing that lie and ‘dressing me with the clothing of salvation’ (Isaiah 61:10).
