I ought to apologize for the lack of blogs put up by me. I haven´t cared about this so much as I have in the past. You readers deserve better.
So we´ve been split up for the past 10 days. The guys all went to Chimaltenango, Guatemala for this time. We´ve been doing man stuff like construction and growing facial hair lately. Currently we all have mustaches. I´ll soon show you.
I´ll also soon show you video proof that I hiked a volcano and roasted steak over the lava with 6 other men.
I don´t really have any profound story or anything particularly witty to say. I´ll just say two things:
One, I´m enjoying the routine lately. It´s been easier to wake up early and be disciplined. I´ve gained a lot of discipline on the race.
Two, team ignite will be joining team Beloved One working in Jinotepe, Nicaragua for the next three weeks before the final debrief starts. We´ll be doing more construction, but also some relational stuff. I´ll try to get on the computer to keep you up to date.
I´m really looking forward to getting back, I must say. The World Race has changed me drastically. It´s one the best decisions I´ve ever made, coming out here. But it´s long.
And I guess one more thing: I just checked my financial support status, and I´ve just about reached my goal. I have over the amount I need to finish the race and am starting to get reimbursed for insurance, shots, and plane ticket. Thank you all!
