I tried writing a blog the other day, and I was successful, but it was deleted. So this is just a quick update on what´s going on.
My team and I are done with scheduled ministry and have set aside four days to spend on a lagoon in here to relax and minister to each other. I spent a few hours swimming in the lagoon, which is warmed by the volcano underneath it, and kyacking around it. It is gorgeous, the weather is nice, and we have splurged to by some good food. Tonight Traci and I are cooking up some fresh fish, steak, and chicken with other veggies and whatnot. I´ll make omelettes in the morning.
It hasn´t hit me yet that I won´t be traveling to another remote village or someplace to minister in a new community for a month. I´m not sure how I´ll react when it does. I´m getting a strange feeling about it in my stomach when I think about it. But I´m looking forward to getting home. I think it´ll only be then that I´ll really feel it all and wish I were back. Hard to believe I won´t be living with these same seven people in about a week. Very weird after 11 months 24-7.
I´ll put up pictures of this place when I get the chance. The final week of ministry was incredible.
