Well…I love the people of Cambodia anyways.
They are a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
This month we are teaching and hanging out with a bunch of teenagers. Teenage boys in fact. And although I was not excited about being around teenagers this month, I am quickly realizing that God knew this was exactly where I was supposed to be.
Within 48 hours of arriving, we lead a youth service. We did worship, we played games, we gave a testimony and we performed a skit in less than two hours! (See the skit at the bottom)

My time in Bible college has gotten more use in the last week than it has the entire Race. These young men are so hungry for truth. For example, one of them came up to me when Jessica and I were teaching English today and asked me if we were doing Bible class today. I told him no, but that I could answer any questions he has when I was done in about 15 minutes.
I sat with that young man for over 30 minutes, delving into the Old Testament and talking about the differences between different religions. By the end, I found me promising to teach him and his friends the book of Hebrews.
Wait, what?!
I am still kind of shocked myself. We have been here 5 days, and already they are asking us about the Trinity, what Heaven is, the relationship between Jesus and the Father when He was on the cross dying for our sins…
Hard, deep questions!
They have kind of blown my expectations out of the water…
I cannot wait to see what else happens this month!
Enjoy the video! We sure did enjoy making it 🙂
The basis of the skit is that the whistler (me) has one talent, whistling. She is happy whistling, but wants to be like someone else. She tries and tries to copy the other characters, and fails horribly every time.
In the end, Jesus comes on stage, and is whistling.
The morale: Jesus loves you just the way you are.
