I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was raised in a christian home. That doesnt mean I lived a “Leave it to Beaver” life. Satan got to me quick and I found my self dependent on alcohol before i knew it. Through Gods grace and a lot of prayer from friends and family, God picked me up and gave me a second chance. I rededicated my life at the age of 21. The hardest part, was having faith that God would replace all of my old friends with solid ones. He did. So today, I find myself using Proverbs 27:17 as my life verse. “As Iron sharpens Iron, So one man sharpens another.”
Not long after I rededicated my life to Christ, I felt the Lord drawing me close to Him. I started praying and finally decided to dedicate my life to full time ministry. Today I work for a large church in Cincinnati. I am the NexGen Apprentice. I work hand in hand with the College Pastor there. My heart is in Missions as the Lord has put a fire in my soul for traveling. What better way to spread His word than while seeing His creations!
I love to do many things. Just about anything outdoors. From skiing to jumping out of planes! I love to do anything that will give me a rush. I also enjoy acting and modeling. I can be found on some local commercials. The thing I love the most though is off roading in a Jeep!
One may ask…why the World Race Josh? Well, my answer is a good one. I was hanging out with some friends one night and we just happened to be talking about missions and my friend mentioned the world race. I didn’t even register what she said. Two nights later I had gotten on my computer to find some missions agencies to team up with. I prayed for God to guide me. Next thing I knew, I was filling out and application for the World Race. The Lord grabbed my hand and led me here! So, you find me excited about this thing………but what I am really excited about, is that I know I am where God wants me.
