It’s funny to look back and read our last blog post from March 9, 2015.
We thought we had so much figured out about our next steps. Little did we know that our lives would be forever changed on March 20, 2015.
March 20th was not only Match Day where I learned that I had matched for residency at my top choice, OU College of Pharmacy in Oklahoma City, but it was also the very same day that we learned we were expecting a child. We had desired to settle down. We had desired to start a family, but we thought it was to be through adoption and had already started the initial application steps. A baby changed everything…except for our desire to adopt. So here we are with a two year old son and in the thick of pursuing our daughter through adoption!
