Hey blog readers, it has been awhile. Here is a little about Kenya and hopefully we will get more blogs out soon.
One of our teammates is Karen. She has been to Kenya twice before and particularly to Kitale, which is where we lived last month. So, a cool thing that happened last month was the opportunity to visit Seeds Children’s Home and Academy where Karen has done missions before.
It had been 2 years since the last time Karen visited, needless to say, it was a sweet reunion. Check out the awesome blog she wrote, I’m Finally Home, to get the full story of her reunion with her sponsored child (we surprised everyone at the children’s home with her visit).
Jenn took pictures of the surprise and of our day volunteering at the school/feeding program and you can check those out here.

Jenn and I we also able to volunteer at free medical clinic in the slums of Kitale, preach at our church and promote our church’s one year anniversary celebration. At the end of the month, we left our team and were able to meet up with some of my family’s dear Kenyan friends. I will tell you all about that soon.
