I have been blessed to be part of an accountability group for a few years now. We meet once a month and last night (Tuesday) was our night to meet. One of the ladies was sharing her heart as tears streamed down her face. A very special person in her life had just passed away. As she shared the memories and even the pain with us, tears streamed down our faces as well. The sad part is she told us that this person was not saved. My mind went to 1 Peter 3:9, “Jesus came that none should perish.” As she asked how can this be, an immediate sense of urgency rose up inside of me! Oh how I hunger to tell the world about Jesus and His amazing love. The Bible says in Matthew 10, “
What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.” I’m reminded of ALP and 1 Kings 19:12, “hearing God’s gentle whisper.” I am so grateful for the Word of God and the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I know that He is guiding me – us – into opportunities to spread His word for the salvation of many! Praise God!
