Ok, it’s 3 am, definitely prime blogging time. I
really should be trying to sleep but I get so into this site some
times! I just love reading about you all. It’s neat to think that
in a year we will all be VERY well acquainted! I have a prayer request
for you all. I finish up my position as a youth director at the end of
June and need to find a way to make money until the race begins. I would
like a job I can enjoy that pays the bills, which are high in
San Diego.
I really need a time of restoration before the trip. Please pray that I
can follow God’s lead for the time between now and the race. It’s hard
for me to not have a job lined up. I have had a few people bring up some
options but I’m just not sure if they are what God has for me at this time in
my life. My desire is to be as prepared as possible for this trip in
every way, mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, etc. I know
that what I end up doing for these next few months will really affect how much
I can prepare for the trip.
On a different note, I’m so thankful for all the great bloggs, questions,
etc. I’m so glad to hear that I’m not the only one wondering what kind of
adapters they will need, what to pack, who they are meeting, etc.
Traveling is so exciting. It’s amazing how much being out of your regular
element allows for great interactions with people, and amazing opportunities to
share with people I would not come into contact with on a daily basis!
Just out of curiosity is there anyone else in
Oregon,
Washington
or
California?
I will hopefully be spending some time in all those states this summer.
