YO!! My name is Will McRae (figured i would add my last name since I’m the third Will to join this team!) and I love being a servant for our God! It boggles my mind that even simple acts of kindness to one another can totally turn a persons day around, or how true acts of love can change a person’s life forever. My church has alot of ministries that accomplish just that, one that I feel blessed to be a part of is the car care ministry. I’ am an automotive technician for Infiniti (expensive Nissan’s lol) and if I could, I would volunteer all of my time and skills to repairing single parent’s vehicles or someone who just cant afford to take their car to anyone to have it repaired. Once my best friend and I fixed a single mom’s car for $12!! Her car wouldn’t start and the culprit was just one little sensor, she was so grateful that her new found church would send people out to help her in her time of need!! That’s what life is all about…showing love for those around you, for both the Christ follower and the Non-believer. (Romans 13:8-10)
I’m 21 years old I have lived here in the Charlotte area of NC for about 2 1/2 years now, I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY (although I don’t have a NY accent). I gave my life to Christ at age 15 (my older brother was a huge influence in that) and I have gone on two mission trips outside of the U.S., one to Juarez, Mexico and one to Romania. I came to North Carolina to go to Nascar Technical Institute (yes there is such a thing!! lol). I took basic automotive classes and added on Nascar engine performance and Advanced Nissan fundamentals (cool electives huh!). Of course there is no such thing as homework at a school like this so I held down a full-time job while in school and used a lot of my free time on the weekends volunteering at my church. I just got to experience camping in a tent for the first time in my life a few months ago (been a city boy all my life), I liked it alot! but something has to be done about the mosquitoes in the south! I love sports, basketball and football are among the top (dont like to watch it on tv though) and I love being outside in secluded areas (parks, rivers, forests) and pouring my heart to God. My two best friends in the world no longer live in NC 🙁 one is in texas and the other in florida, but I cant wait to meet the members of my team and start new lasting relationships with other servants of our awesome GOD!!! The three Will’s need to unite so we can start mass confusion amongst the other team members! lol jk.
