Hi Family & Friends!

We are almost halfway done with Month 7 of The World Race! Wow, "Month 7" that is so strange to say out loud! In 5 months i will be back in Phoenix, Arizona! and though i can't wait to go home i know that i am still far from reaching the finish line of this race. One more month in Africa and then 3 more months in Asia! The adventure continues!

Being a team leader this month has been an incredible experience. I have grown and learned so much from the Lord and my team mates of how to serve in humility. I tend to have a Miss.Fix it mentality and God has taught me to not bare the weight of the team issues/growth on my shoulders. But instead to encourage them to step out into boldness and make goals to accomplish. God has taught me that their growth is not dependent on me, but that my only job is to serve under them and love them as individuals and us as a team. No stress, when issues arise God is in control. And all i need to do is daily surrender my control and let him lead me. This new position doesn't come with out challenges. Yet, the challenges are ones that will strengthen me in my walk with God. These ladies are amazing woman of God. Everyone has grown so much and it has only been a week on the field. Prayers answered, God is doing big things in the hearts of our team and village ministry projects. This month we have had 3 interns with us for the month. These incredible ladies have brought a new energy to our team. Their honesty and boldness has helped the team to be more vulnerable and real in our friendships.

Ministry this month has been somewhat exhausting, but exciting. Each day is different. Though the schedule seems to change last minute quite often. We worked in a feed the children program last Saturday, have preached and taught at churches and peoples homes. We have done door to door ministries and have grown a lot through all these experiences. One woman's house we knocked on almost shut the door on us. Somehow, she changed her mind and let us in. Lets just say that day was the last day she planned on living until we prayed and encouraged her. Sometimes just a phone call, letter or knocking on someone's door to say hello is all they need to have their hope restored. (:

Yesterday, at church i spoke this "When i was a little girl, i used to pray to God at night that someday when i was older i would be able to go to Africa and volunteer in the orphanages and with the people. I stand here today a living testimony that dreams can come true with Jesus! Dream big and let God lead you! <3

They smiled and cheered AMEN!!

So here is my encouragement to you all. CONTINUE TO DREAM BIG. Don't let money, not enough time or life stresses, be your excuse. Make goals weekly and place them on the fridge. Pray and see where the Lords leads you!

Love you all!
