Greetings from Fontotje Swaziland-Africa (This is an older post that I have not had a chance to put up until now)! I will not have Internet much this month or for the next three months in Africa, but I wanted to give an update on what has been going on. It is funny how things work sometimes because right when our team finally felt like we had come together team changes occurred. Our last debrief was in Bucharest, Romania and it lasted five days. During this debrief we were placed on different teams within our squad. We knew it would happen, but sometimes teams do not change on the world race. In our case though every team changed. It was an exciting time, but it was also full of tears and very hard. The last four months I lived everyday with Kacie, Faith, Natalie, Dave, and Katherine. There was not a single day that I did not see each one of them and they all became my family. I love and miss each one of them and I know God has some big things in store for all of them. Thankfully we still get to see each other at the end of every month and the times that our teams work together.

Farewell my dear team.. I will never forget the memories and the lessons that we went through:)
Our squad had a powerful time in Bucharest. The main focus of this debrief was the Holy Spirit. The speakers Mike Pascal and Shawn Smith really poured into us, and our whole squad feels that the next three months in Africa are going to be even more life changing than the last four. I am excited to introduce my new teammates Kelly, KK, Lauren, Emily, and Loretta. We have all spent time together throughout the four months and we already feel very close to each other. I am excited about what the Lord is going to do in us and through us in Africa. Please pray for my new team and myself; we have called ourselves team Fuego (means fire in Spanish).
We are currently in Swaziland working with an organization called Hope Rises. We are living out of our tents all this month camped in an unfinished preschool building. We are doing manual labor during the day mainly mixing concrete, plastering, digging, and moving rocks. During the night we do Bible studies, speak at churches, or work with the children. It has only been a few days in Swaziland so I cannot say everything we will be doing, but I am sure I’ll have Internet at the end of the month for an update. It is still very surreal to me that I am in Africa. I cannot even describe how beautiful the sky is at night. I feel like I can touch every star. We can even see the Milky Way. Last night I led a Bible study under the stars and it was so incredible just looking up and seeing the Lord’s artwork. The most amazing times though are when the African women sing to the Lord. They have so much passion and love for the Lord even though they have very little and have very hard living conditions. It is so humbling to be here and be apart of this community. We call all the older ladies Momma already and they treat us like their own children.

Introducing my new team team Fuego! We had an amazing time in Swaziland I will try to tell you all about it in my next blog. The Lord really blessed it all. I am excited about what is to come this month in Mozambique!
I hope to give a more detailed blog about Swaziland after this month, but I wanted to give a brief update on what I learned last month in Moldova. We had a great time in Moldova and as you can see from my last blog my old team became very close. We made some great friends with our contact Pastor Marine. His church was very friendly and we had a great time serving with them. We preached several times at different churches and played many worship sets, but the most powerful time of the month was the last two weeks in Moldova. On some days our contact did not have ministry for us to do so we started going to the nearby park everyday and played worship out in the open. Many people started to crowd around us and throughout the week we made many friends. We got to share the gospel many times, and it was so special getting to spend time day to day with our new friends and learning about them all. They all came to church with us on Easter Sunday and one of them opened her life up to Jesus. Some of them said they were not ready to receive Christ, but many seeds were sown this month and the Lord taught me that there are times of sowing and times of gathering fruit and both are equally as important. I will miss all those that we met in Moldova and shared life with, but my prayer is that I will see the fruit one day and see them all in Heaven.

Our wonderful Contacts Pastor Marine and his Wife. God bless yall!
Dear friends that we met in the park and became close with throughout our time in Moldova
1 Corinthians 3:8-9 He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.
Please keep Moldova in your prayers, as there is a huge need for more believers. The whole country is under a cloud of depression.
I just want to thank all of my supporters. I cannot tell you all how thankful I am that you believe in this mission and me. I pray that God blesses you in all that you do. I am currently at 11,200 out of the 14,400. The Lord is providing and it is because of you all. Thank you for letting Him use you and blessing me so much with financial support and your prayers. I miss you all until next time☺
