Meet Amanda.
it would be…
wisdom.
Last but not least. Amanda got switched to our team at
launch. She was my bunk buddy at training camp and she still is any time we
have a bunk bed. She has become a close friend on the race through the thick
and thin. I call her A-da.
sports, hike, surf, rappel, skydive and do anything outside. She loves history
of all kinds. She also loves to serve others in any capacity. She has
served at Pine Cove Christian Camp for many years, which has a huge
place in her heart. She loves her family, especially her siblings.
Amanda loves the Lord with all her heart. She is a woman who
seeks truth and integrity in every situation. She has studied the
Bible in and out and desires the truth to be displayed in every aspect of her
life. Her wisdom goes beyond just studying. The Lord has blessed her
with wisdom for people in situations where others can’t. She has come to
know who she really is in Christ and as a person. I have seen her come
from a quite, shy girl to someone who has stepped into boldness. When
she sees injustice she seeks to bring justice. Whether that is in our
team, individuals or the world. She has the ability to love despite herself
which is rare in people. I have seen her struggle through a lot on the race but
push through with such vigor and persistence. She desires to come
out on the other side totally in love with Christ and I know that the
Lord is answering that desire all throughout her life.
Amanda is a woman with many dreams. She wants to work in a
coffee shop. Be a shepherd. Study, teach and live history. Travel the world.
Work at camps. Be an advocate for humanitarian needs. Bee Keeper. Forest Ranger. Florist. Love old people in
anyway she can. If Amanda could conquer the world, that would be on her list.
She can relate to anyone, so I know her possibilities are endless. Whether she works in ministry or the secular world I know she will be used
in mighty ways.

This is A-da my little adventurer!
