e arrived in Kenya a week or so ago. We had our debrief in a backpackers place in Nairobi, Kenya. It was a great time of rest and relaxation. Two days ago our team was sent out to our ministry sites all around Kenya.
e arrived in Kenya a week or so ago. We had our debrief in a backpackers place in Nairobi, Kenya. It was a great time of rest and relaxation. Two days ago our team was sent out to our ministry sites all around Kenya. My team and I will still be staying in Nairobi but in a part of town called Lang’ata. We will be working with a church called Deliverance Church of Lang’ata (click on name). They are a pretty big church in Lang’ata located right out side of Kibera slums. These slums are one of the largest in the world.
Our ministry is not yet determined. I do know that we will be doing a lot directly with the church. Somethings we have heard is preaching, teaching, working with the youth, visiting an orphanage, working at the local university, evangelism in the estates that we are staying at and potentially sharing Jesus in the slums.
I love the church already and I am excited to see what the Lord has for me here in Kenya!
