I read about people in the Bible encountering Jesus. They were
blind, lame, crippled and possessed with demons. Then Jesus delivered them.
Many of these people came to believe in Jesus because of the miracle that he
worked in their lives. Jesus said to His disciples, “You will do greater things
than these.” John 14:12

Since coming on the race, I have realized the power that God
has in the lives of His believers. He can do amazing work through us.

I can cast out these demons.
I can heal the blind, lame, crippled.
I can set the captives free.

For the past five months I have been praying for this. I
have been asking God to work miracles in others through me. For His glory. I
want to see people set free right before my eyes. To walk, hear, see and live in
freedom. Then to see them get on their knees and praise God for what He has
done.

But it has become frustrating to wait. Everytime we pray
for people who are in bondage spiritually or physically I ask and pray to God
for these people. But I haven’t seen Him work the miracle before my eyes. I
know that I could be putting expectations on how God is working but I only want
it to happen because I know it can.

I want to be used.

We prayed for a woman who was suffering from many surgeries
and stomach problems. I left there sort of defeated because she wasn’t
miraculously healed. In the car I was talking to a friend Natt. He said that
God chooses to do things in His timing. Sometimes He doesn’t heal because He is
going to use that persons life to show others His glory. And vice versa. We
just have to wait for His timing.

You see I knew that. It is such a simple truth but yet so
hard to grasp.
As hard as it gets and however long it takes I have to wait on
the Lord
.

Continue to ask, seek and knock.
