I have been blessed beyond I ever imagined here at Totara
Springs. The staff here are wonderful. It has been a blessing to have people on
the summer staffs that are our age. We are able to relate to them so much. They
are so full of life, fun and Jesus. When we first got here we slowly got to
meet everybody but when you get these people together it can be really amazing.
They all have a passion for God and what He is doing in their lives.
Our goal was to just pour into them and give an opportunity to worship
together. The night started off with Catch Phrase. I enjoy hanging out with all
of the staff because our personalities work so well together. After a while we
started with some worship.
I cannot explain the joy that I have always gotten when I
watch people worship God. This group of Christians all desire to seek Godwith
all their heart. They worshipped God all in there own way. A Columbian, some
Aussies, a Scottsman, an Englishman, Americans, A Canadian and Kiwi’s all
worshipping God together. Like many nations coming together in harmony to seek
the face of their Creator.
There are things that I am working through and often it has been hard for me to
be excited. But that night I was filled with so much joy and excitement. I was
filled with thanks giving for God who has brought me here…
I am a missionary in another country.
I was blessed with all these people who love.
I was given a community of people who love me.
I am beautiful because Christ lives in me.
