I came into the World Race knowing that I would be
challenged. I knew I was going to experience things that were going to make me
question.
So here I am at launch training. And I am being challenged.
God is moving in ways that I don’t understand. In ways that I have never
experienced before. Like everyone, there are things that I need to work through
in order to experience God fully. I am going to keep pressing on to what God
has for me as I continue this journey.
New Zealand reminds me a lot of America. They have
McDonalds, KFC, and Subway. The people all live in materialism and live in a
laid back mentality. Only 7% of the population actually lives devoted to
Christ. There are rolling hills of green wherever you drive and the beach is
always an hour away. The weather is warm and cool nothing like the scorching
Fresno heat. Except the sun will burn you in a matter of 10 minutes. I have
been sleeping like a baby and enjoyed the laid back week. It has really felt
like vacation because it all looks like America here.
