Abba,
Oh how privileged I am to call serve a God like you. Every word of worship I have ever sang, or wrote about has shown me how to be more and more thankful of you. I am extremely blessed to have you as my source.
For years I knew about this relationship between you and I, yet I still avoided it. You always loved me even as I denied you multiple times. I was content with claiming you and only meeting you for coffee maybe once a week, I was comfortable with a good morning, goodnight relationship with you. You, Father, were always there waiting to have coffee with me every day. Eternity is never enough for me to thank you fully for the depth of your love for me.
It was not until one morning you served me the tastiest coffee I had ever tasted, and I since then can never receive enough. I sat with you and cried with you about how sorry I was for overlooking your goodness and choosing others before you. Through all the times I was left alone, heartbroken, guilty, and unworthy, God you came to me and wrapped your gentle arms around me. I never really knew who you were until then. You are a God who loves, saves, and cares.
You, without failing, listen and remain faithful with your promises. You took me out of the darkest valley, to bring me into a land flowing with milk and honey. I am eternally grateful for the forgiveness you gave without hesitation.
Day by day, I understand a little more of your unconditional love, I am no longer shy to tell about it. Thank you for giving me eyes to see and ears to hear. You have made it possible, through me, to share to others of your great love. I am overwhelmed of the magnitude of your greatness. Abba, you equip us beautifully to have a heart imitated after you. You gave the greatest sacrifice, your Son, so that we as your children can live a redeemed life. I am in awe of that sacrifice every day.
Dad, you hold the greatest treasure in such a wonderful field. It’s waiting to be found by so many people who are searching. I am in awe of your treasure, oh how great it is.
You have painted a lovely plan. I am completely awestruck by the plans you have set out for me, I cant even begin to tell you of how lucky I feel. You have brought me from continent-to-continent and so you could show me little bits and pieces. I cant wait to be shown more of you through the life you’ve given me.
I’m learning to seek you first, before anyone or anything. Through that you have shown me the wonders of your love. You honor me as a lily among thorns, as your darling among others. I delight to sit in your shade and your fruit is far sweeter than anything I have ever tasted.
I enjoy a life with you as my maker, my creator, my father. So far its been real, its been fun, and its been really fun.
