NEW month, NEW continent, NEW ministry, NEW TEAM!

Come the end of month seven on the race, as the squad wrapped up our time in Tanzania on the gorgeous beaches of Zanzibar, there were some undeniable waves of change crashing upon the shore. During our time in Tanzania, my teammate Tara expressed to the team that she felt God leading her to head home. This decision was obviously a very difficult one for her, as well as our whole team, but we entirely affirm her in her discernment and obedience. You can check out her blog for her thoughts and to encourage her as she steps into this exciting new season.
The team change had me saying a tough farewell to Tara, Leslie, and Chelsea, who I had the incredible privilege of sharing a team with since the beginning of the race. My new team consists of former Rhema-teammate Matthew Poole, along with Pam Wilson, Bonnie Coley, and Jasmin Del Rosario. We’re all very excited about the new things God has in store for us, and have all been incredibly encouraged by how we’ve grown together already in so short of a time.
We’ve been seeking the Lord together since the teams were announced, trying to discern the direction that He wants to lead us for this next season of the race. We know He has incredible things in store, and we’re really excited for the new work that He has begun. Expect a blog SOON with our new team name!
