So! My name is Tim Hendrickson and by the grace of God I’m going on the World Race! I live in Locust, North Carolina and I am a member of an awesome church family called The Gathering. I am somewhat the outdoorsy type of guy I suppose. I enjoy hiking and mountain biking along with some occasional kayaking but i definitely wouldn’t limit my idea of a good time to these things. All my life Iv’e felt like there was something different about me and in November of 2012 God revealed this to me. I was chosen.
But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. And it was for this that He called you through our gospel that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians 2:13,14
By God’s grace I was called out of the sinful lifestyle that was holding me back from accomplishing the things God was calling me to do. And now I am free to move forward towards the dream that I feel God placed in my heart.
