So fall has decided to come to Cambodia. For the past week it has been cooler in South East Asia then I ever thought possible. It’s been so glorious that I even went to the market to buy a pair of jeans, since all I brought were shorts.
My time in Cambodia has been very busy. I’ve managed to spend time with Team United in their ministry, which has involved painting a church and teaching english. I then spent about a week with Team X-Stream in the Takeo province. That was the first time I’ve been in the Cambodian province. It is largely different from Phnom Penh or Siem Reap. So you can imagine after roughing it I was ready to go back to Phnom Penh to spend the rest of my time with Team Agape Life Song.
Like I said earlier, this has been a very busy month. Both in the physical with my schedule and trying to spend time with three teams, but also spiritually. God has been faithful to speak to me, both in new ways and in old ways that I’d forgotten about. I am looking forward to leaving on Monday with Di to go to Siem Reap and begin preparing for debrief.
Please be in prayer for the squad. Month two is almost done, and with that the World Race has truly begun. Teams are starting to press in and personalities are coming out. We are at a turning point as a squad where God is wanting to take us to some fun and amazing places together, but with that comes brokenness and a certain element of danger. I am excited about this and can’t wait to see what comes out of it.
Please continue to pray for me and Di as well. This is a very important debrief where some crucial decisions need to be made. As well please continue to pray for wisdom and for me to come closer to the heart of God. Also, next month we will be in Malaysia. This month the men and women will be split up to do ministry together. This is an extremely rare and valuable time where all the men will be together so we can go deep with each other. I really want to capitalize on this opportunity. Please pray that God would speak to me about what next month is to look like and that He would bless us next month.
