Thinking about what I was
going to put in this blog has been a real challenge for me because
I’m not used to having to censor my blogs. As it turns out things
are more sensitive here then we expected so we have to be careful
about anything we say in emails or blogs. I thought about waiting
until we leave at the end of the month to post all my blogs but I
love you all too much to leave you in the dark for that long. So
I’ve come up with an idea that will hopefully allow me to communicate
with all of you and maybe make reading my blogs a little more
interactive and fun. That’s right, for the next month, in an effort
to protect the organization we’re working with, my blogs will be one
big fill in the blank puzzle.
So an_w_y it’s been a
pre_ty busy w_ek. In the mo_ni_gs we go to the _ouse and w_rsh_p
with the g_ys there that are r_cov_ring from various _ddicti_ns and
we do some te_chi_g. We have a few hours where we eat l_nch and ha_g
out and then in the _ftern_on Nate and I go with the guys and do
l_ndsc_ping and gen_ral hom_ rep_ir which serves to te_ch the guys
v_cation_l sk_lls. This is prob_bly going to be one of our b_sier
months but so far it has been by far my fav_rite. Prob_bly because I
can see mys_lf doing something sim_lar to this in my fut_re. During
my trav_ls I have really developed a p_ssion for yo_ng men that need
m_le role mod_ls and along with that have a n_ed for a lot of
h_aling. I really _dmire how an env_ronm_nt is created to allow
he_ling and freed_m to be achi_ved by these y_ung men. And that is
achieved through w_rship, liv_ng in tr_e c_mmunit_ tog_ther, and
grow_ng closer to their re_l Dad. In fact I’ve f_rmed a real close
fri_ndship with one of the h_use lead_rs. In only a w_ek we have
form_d a tight fri_ndship and have re_lly tak_n that opp_rtunity to
pour into each others liv_s.
Other then that things
are g_ing very w_ll for us. We were a l_ttle worried because we came
into this co_ntry with a sm_ller budg_t then usual, but our ob_dience
in coming here has been met with co_ntless provis_on. Thanks to the
g_nerosity of others and other bl_ssings we are r_markably way _nder
budget. Please r_member us while we’re h_re, that opportunit_es

place but all of these pr_cautions are here to pr_tect the people
here. I’ll be sure to write a s_mmary of the m_nth once we l_ave.
