Homeward Bound Part 4: The Decision

As I said in my last post, I’ve made my decision. I’ve chosen which path I want to take at this particular fork in the road. And if the title of the series wasn’t enough of a clue, I’m choosing to stay home.
I imagine you all have a lot of questions, and I would love to answer them, as I can. I haven’t yet spoken to my mobilizer, so I’m not sure what will happen to all the money already donated to my account. There may be a chance I can go on a shorter trip that’s cost would be covered by the money already raised. But, if that doesn’t work out, please rest assured that the money you’ve donated WILL go toward getting other missionaries on the field!
I do have fundraisers still on the books, and I am going to continue on with them. I will simply see that the money goes to one of my squadmates instead of going into my account.
If you have one of the money jars: there are two options. The first: CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve just saved some money, treat yo self. The second: you adopted the country, so I can tell you how to donate to someone going to your sponsored country! Either choice is perfectly fine with me!
I want to thank you all so much for your support throughout this whole process. Your love and generosity has meant so much. There aren’t any words.
If you have any questions, PLEASE ask!! I plan to do a post soon with my plans for the next step soon. Then, I’ll probably follow up with a Q&A post.
I love you guys, and I’ll be back soon. Stay tuned.
