Just a quick update to let everyone know where I am and what’s going on…
As of today (after a few deposits are made) I will have $1,845 in my account.
That means I need $6,435 more in the next month to be able to leave with my team.
There’s a couple of opportunities to let you know about:
– Magazine fundraiser : I have an online site where magazine subscriptions can be ordered. 40% of everything ordered comes back to me to support the World Race. – Dinner Theatre fundraiser: This will be Friday, Dec. 12th at 7 p.m. at Riverside (the church I work for). A group of us are providing the entertainment in the form of “Christmas Tapestry” while the audience is served dinner. I adapted it from a children’s book by the same name by Patricia Polacco.
