Haiti. Month two. Already? Really?
This Sunday the H squad will be up long before the sun’s rays break the night sky to clean and start our journey to the other side of the island.
Sunday we have a four hour bus ride to Santo Domingo where we will be staying at a YWAM base for the night. Monday we leave for a much longer bus ride to Port-Au-Prince and we will be camping overnight.
Team Manna will then be leaving Port-Au-Prince Tuesday morning for yet another long ride to Les Cayes. We will be working with an orphanage for the month with one of our squad leaders Ashley Musick.
I expect it to be a very stretching month for me sin I have maybe 2% mothering/child-loving instinct in me and that is probably a generous estimate. Oh the humor of God.
