Hello Family and Friends!
I am almost finished with my 11 months serving on the World Race. I cannot believe that it is almost over! It seems like just yesterday that I left for Thailand on January 1st.
I wanted to announce my next exciting endeavor to you all! I have been asked to Squad Lead another World Race Fusion team this coming January!
What does this mean? This means I will be leading another team in January 2016 as an alumni. When I left last January we had three alum squad leaders who lead us the first 5 months. They then left the field and left me and one other person in charge of the squad.
So I will be training a new group of ‘racers’ for their first 5 months of service on the field and then heading home after I train up new leaders.
It was a very difficult decision for me to decided to go back out on the field. At first I did NOT want to do it. I was getting excited to be home, thinking of the next step, and my sister just had my first niece! BUT I knew in my spirit that God was calling me to say ‘yes’. I do not know what He has in store for me for this new race but I know it will be good. I know that when my ‘yes’ is harder to say, the rewards will be even more fruitful!
With that said, you all have been amazing supporters throughout my first race! I wanted to ask if you would again support me for my next Word Race Fusion trip. Since alumni squad leaders go back to the field as staff, I only have to raise %50 of the normal costs. For 5 months I have to raise $3,500.
