There comes a point in your walk with others and the Lord that change needs to happen in order to pursue the growth that you desire.

Change is not always easy.

Living in a world where we pack up and move at the end of each month, you would think we would be used to the change…but no matter how normal it becomes…it still hurts.

As we wrapped up debrief in Malaysia, it was time for team changes to happen. We all anticipated it, but had no clue what the outcome would be. Our team did change. And it was hard. Our team had become a close knit family. We had been through so much together and we have gotten to watch each other grow and become more like Him through life on the race.

After lots of prayers, Shawna returned home to receive further medical healing for her back. It was so hard to say goodbye to her for a second time, but we all had a peace about where the Lord was leading her and the opportunities that await her in her future! She will forever be a part of our team and will be greatly missed here. Abby and Amanda were also moved to other teams. Although we may not be on the same team anymore, they will always be my loved sisters and forever friends.

Oh, how I love this group of women!

I am excited to introduce you to our new team…

As you know, our old team was in a season of Redemption. We had been through the refiner’s fire and were walking through the valley as redeemed women of God. Now, walking in a new light…Daughter’s of Zion seemed to naturally fit our new team.

"For the Lord has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling place"
Psalm 132:13

The word Zion has various meanings in the scriptures. It was the place that people went to worship God. It was known as the "dwelling place of God". We are women hungering for more of Him. To be in and become His dwelling place.

"Shake yourself from the dust and arise; be seated, O Jerusalem; loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion."
Isaiah 52:2

We all had been hearing the word “Arise” and “Rise up” and the picture of Mount Zion felt perfect for the season we are all entering into.

This team is full of wisdom, strength, insight, and laughter. I am so excited to become unified with another group of girls and hopefully spend the last five months of this race together.

God is so good, and it feels amazing to be in a place where I can completely put my trust and hope in Him even in the midst of change and heart ache.

"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, declares the Lord."
Zechariah 2:10

HELLO CAMBODIA!!

It is beautiful here. Each morning as we head out for a run, my breath is taken away by the beautiful sunrise, fresh palm trees, and wild animals running around. We are living in a little village about two hours away from Phenom Phen. My team will be doing house visits, teaching English, and doing prayer walks in another small village an hour away. Pray for rain as it is almost their hottest month of the year and are running very low on water. We are limiting showers and hoping God will bless them with some rain for the next month. And now for some pictures 🙂

Please continue to pray for our safety and health as we continue on this journey! Internet will be very limited this month, so I will update you all as soon as I can! Thank you for your consisten support and love 🙂
