I'm Stephanie. Lets see…what can I tell you about myself…get ready this might be random.
I am 24 years old.
Before WR: I was a hairstylist.
After the WR: Waiting for God's calling and direction.
My favorite color is pink.
I am the middle of three sisters
I love me some Jesus.
I've known about Him all my life but the Lord rocked my world when I was 19.
This is when I truly started to understand who HE IS in my life!
I laugh A LOT.
I love to read and drink hot tea.
I have never been camping. ever.
(before the race..)
I have been a vegetarian for 3 years.
I like to think I am pretty spontaneous.
I love to travel and see new places!
(My favorite place is the beach!!
I moved to Florida for 8 months, not knowing a soul, just to be close to it!)
The last mission trip I went on was to L.A. My team painted an entire church and rebuilt the stage in the sanctuary. (And yes…I did rock some very fashionable overalls all week!)
My dad is my hero. And he somehow got me into running 🙂
When God spoke to me telling me He had been preparing me to "make disciples of many nations". I was in shock. Surely not me…Surely I had heard Him wrong.
He continued telling me to "fix my eyes on things above, not on earthly things." As hard as this was, the more I followed His calling, it became SO clear that God was calling me to the World Race. To finally let go of it all, and let Him use me for somehthing so much bigger than myself. To step out of my comfort zone and let Him be my Beloved, my strength, my EVERYTHING.
