Hi, my name is Serena Noel Snyder and I’m wrecked. Why am I wrecked you ask? A lot of reasons I suppose. I started being wrecked when I felt like I was closest to figuring everything out on my own. So I was pretty wrecked without even realizing it then. But God refused to stand in the background while I floundered, so He came and wrecked me for something much bigger than myself. I wrote more about that here on my personal blog.
Now I’m all about His big story here on earth, and His eternal story in heaven. I’m so excited to get wrecked for each and every one of these 11 countries on the World Race because God’s Spirit in me is not going to stand passively while there’s work to be done. And after the Race I’m excited because God’s work keeps on going, setting captives free and drawing a kingdom and a people to Himself!
If you thought that was super cryptic and overly poetic, my details are that I’m currently studying at the University of Washington (Seattle) finishing up my undergraduate degree in Bioengineering. I live in the dorms on campus and I love building relationships, talking about Jesus and real heart stuff, and loving on my church, Mars Hill. My personal blog has posts starting Oct. 2013 if you want to know more about what I’ve been doing and thinking about for the past few months, but from here out I’ll be uploading new posts to both blogs!
