Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog! Here are some fun facts about me and some things I like:
- I am 21 years old and have lived my whole life just outside the small town of Naches, Washington with my awesome parents and fantastically crazy little sister. Here’s a cool place near my house where I love to hike:
- I am almost done with my basic associate degree at Yakima Valley Community College. (Go Yaks!?)
- I work with my dad for a group of art businesses in a nearby town, and enjoy spending my days making books, mosaics, and other artsy things.
We like to have fun with the mosaic letters:
- I absolutely love just about everything related to art- dance, music, crafts, costuming, and tons of other things. I did ballet for almost 15 years and can play the flute and a tiny bit of guitar. My ultimate goal is to learn to play the bagpipes!
- I love to read, especially when there is also tea involved, and if it’s something by J.R.R. Tolkien or C.S. Lewis. The Lord of the Rings is a bit of an obsession, which has led to the creation of costumes, shoes, and more… If you want an hour long, one-sided conversation about The Lord of the Rings, you’ve come to the right person. C.S. Lewis’s space trilogy is my other favorite book series.
- I like to hike, play at the lake, and go on adventures with friends.
- I’m incredibly blessed to be a part of an awesome ministry in Yakima called The Brand/John 14:12 Ministries with some of the coolest people I know! We do ministry all over Washington and Oregon and have crazy adventures!
- I’ve been drawn to missions at least a little since early in high school, but this will be my first international mission trip. I’ve also never been on a plane…
- The country I’m most looking forward to traveling to is Romania because I’ve always been fascinated with the culture of the gypsies!
