Here’s How You Can Help!
1) Pray, Pray, Pray!!! This 11 month trip isn’t going to be easy, so I need to be covered in prayer before I leave and while I am in the field. Pray for the people that are going to be walking beside me on my team and that we would be protected and have doors opened up while overseas!
2) Help spread the word. This is huge because my network of people can only go so far, but with your help I can get so much more help on this journey I am about to go on! Share my blog on Facebook and other types of media, tell your friends and family about it, or even ask people you know to help support me on this 11 month mission trip.
3) Give a one-time gift. It doesn’t matter how big or how small the donations are, EVERY donation counts and helps me reach my goal!
4) Commit to giving monthly! If you ever thought about giving to something monthly, here is a chance for you. The amount doesn’t matter, if its $10 a month for 11 months that would be $110 towards my trip. If I was to have every person who has already looked at my blog would just donate $5 -$10 a month until July of 2015 I would have my trip fully funded.
This opportunity of doing an 11 month mission trip has me REALLY excited but without your help I can’t go! Would you please consider partnering with me? The main cost of the trip is $16,242. This amount covers all travel cost, food, housing and insurance (Just to be on the safe side) for the entire trip. The things that aren’t covered are airfare to & from Georgia twice (once for training & again when we depart for the trip), equipment that I will need for the trip, (I will be living out of a backpack for 11 months) emergency/spending money. My goal is to leave fully funded when we depart for our first country in January of 2015. So, if you would please carefully consider partnering with me so that I can leave on this mission trip fully funded, that would be totally amazing! I can’t do it without you!! How to Donate
Please keep in mind that all donations made to World Race are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!!! There are multiple ways you can give…
1) Mail-in a Check
If you are wanting to mail-in checks to World Race please email me at [email protected] so that I can give you a response card to mail with the check. This response card will make sure that the money goes to support me.
2) Online
If you are wanting to donate online you can click the “Support Me” tab on the upper left side of the page or next to the fundraising bar on the top of the page. You may set up a recurring donation through this option but you will be charged a 3% processing fee. This may take up to 3-5 days to process
3) Monthly Donations
If you are considering doing monthly donations THANK YOU!!! I would suggest doing it through Dynapay. Dynapay is an option for donating through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), which allows you to set up a monthly donation through your personal checking account. Dynapay is only for monthly giving and can’t be used for one-time donations. If you want to do Dynapay go to https://www.adventures.org/dynapay/ and fill out all the required fields. With this option there is no processing fee.
4) Donation directly to me
This would go to cover other costs not covered by the tax-deductible contributions made directly to World Race. By donating to me directly it would help me pay for airfare to and from Georgia (twice), backpacking equipment and any other things needed for the trip. If you would like to do this option you can get in contact with me. I would also gladly accept any air-miles or gift certificates to REI.
World Race Financial deadlines
1st Deadline: $3,500 – Due 9/27/2014 (2 weeks before Training Camp)
2nd Deadline: $7,500 – Due 12/18/2014 (2 weeks prior to departure)
3rd Deadline: $11,000 – Due 4/1/2015 (End of 3 months on the field)
4th Deadline: $16,243 – Total Due 7/1/2015 (End of 6 months on the field)
Keep in mind when looking at these deadlines that I would like to be fully funded before I go out in the field in January. I would like to make sure I am fully funded before I leave so that when I am on the field I don’t have to worry about the money, but I can just keep concentrated on what God has in store.
