First off I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has provided me with support on this crazy adventure so far. Even though I haven’t left yet it has been so great to see and feel the love from the people around me. Through this fundraising experience so far I have learned that allowing people to partner with you in your journey is such a vital part of the mission experience. I am very grateful for the way you each show your support in your own special way. God has reminded me that we are all gifted and are used as a specific part of the church body. Whether that is to proved comfort in time of frustration, to bring a smile to a face in the time of sadness or to speak a word of encouragement. It has been really cool to see how God has used different people and different ways to support me on my journey. I have a wall in my room with notes written by some of my closet friends that are filled with words of affirmation and it has helped me big time. The Lord knew I needed this because he knew doubt would fill me as I stepped into something I haven’t done before. I’ve had a crazy cool amount of people want to buy shirts to support me and one of the coolest things is some of those people are individuals I haven’t spoken to in a while but they listened to God’s call to partner with me. I also have the best of friends and family who I can text in a second and will pray and provide me with the encouragement I need to push though.
All together God has graciously provided me with a support system and an amazing Christ centered family of brothers and sisters. One of the biggest challenges with this journey is financial support and as I approach my first deadline, I have already seen the Lord provide in a huge way. I am currently at $2,800 in my account and need to reach $3,500 by the beginning of July. The online donations end today and donations by check need to be mailed to Adventures in missions by this Friday. My total for this trip is $16,000 but I find it easier to take things one step at a time. If you are unable to donate know, feel free to later. This is one of a few deadlines I will need to meet for this trip. I ask that you would prayerfully consider supporting me on this trip, if you haven’t already. This adventure is going to be a time for the Lord to grow, refine, encourage, challenge and to show his love to not just my team, myself and the people we encounter, but also to you. We are all a part of the church body and he is using each of us for a purpose.

4. Encourage me or send me funny jokes, cool quotes, words of affirmation or just ask about how things are going. I am excited about this trip and I do have fears about this trip but I love talking so being an ear to listen is a huge support to me.
