Hello, friend.
So, God's been pressing it on my heart to put up a support blog. And I've been procrastinating.
Why?
Because I loathe with my being having to ask for help. It's not that I don't appreciate the help, I just like to get things done on my own, including paying for this trip. Except I can't pay for this trip on my own. It's just not possible. I work part time in a shoe store, I really don't make that much money.
So, here it comes…the big one…..
I NEED HELP!
I know I can't do this on my own. I need YOUR help.
Currently, I'm reading a book called 'Terrify No More' by David Hauser.
It's about a man named David as he and his team of former FBI agents/SWAT members and lawyers went undercover to raid a series of brothels and rescue children as young as FIVE YEARS OLD.
Let that sink in a minute.
Yes, there are men out there who would pay to molest a child. And there are more than you think.
When this team went into the village of Svay Pak, Cambodia, they were swarmed by young men asking if they want "young girls".
Customers pay for one hour with a child.
They are forced to serve around 12-15 customers a day. That's fifteen hours of non stop abuse.
If they don't smile and look like they had fun, they are tortured and beaten, and food and water is witheld.
And it breaks my heart.
THIS is why I'm going.
To be God's vessel and offer hope to these young girls. To share the amazing and perfect love of Christ, and to offer them a way out.
And I need YOU to do this.
