On the 8th we celebrates Rachel’s birthday. We had a whole day planned out full of adventure and surprises. One of these surprises required a 2.5 hour drive through the beautiful country side of Thailand. As we were driving home, the sun began to set. And as I watched many statues of Buddha and Buddhist temples pass by, God spoke a word to me about the combination of these two things.
He said that the sun is setting on Buddhas control over this county. He is doing a new work here. He is restoring His church and calling them to greater freedom and greater boldness for Him. I found God’s timing on this to be awe inspiring. The day before we has stopped at an old Buddhist temple that was also a refuge/sanctuary for dogs and monkeys. As we are walking around taking pictures of the monkeys we come up to a cave that is filled with smaller statues of Buddha in his many positions. And as I began praying for the people I saw one statue that stood out to me. God told me to take a picture of it. So I did.
He then said this is a prophetic picture. Like Daigon was before the Ark of the Covenant so Buddha will be before my church!

God is doing a mighty work here in Thailand. Our team could feel it the moment we got on the train headed here. There has been a shift in the atmosphere. I feel the heavenly anticipation for what is about to take place here in Thailand. It’s an incredible joy to join in Heaven’s agenda and pray for Heaven to invade earth with the power of God! What a day that will be when it happens!
