Hey guys…
Just wanted to say hi from the Dominican… I absolutely love it here. I could definitely just stay and skip going to all the rest of the countries… but I know that is not part of the plan… but I love the culture… and the people in Arroyo Cano, especially the church folks are phenominal. I dont want to leave!!!!
Earlier this week, we went with the local pastor for a couple days to the mountain villages of montacito and los frijos… we prayed for healing for numerous people and then went and prayed and gave encouragement to the few Christians in the predominently Catholic area. But it was so incredible to sleep under the stars and then see the sunrise over the mountains… one of the most breathtaking sites I have seen in my life. Did I say that I love it here? Oh and that I get coffee like twice a day? 🙂
Anyway, I am preaching this Sunday and Pastor Gregorio is going to translate for me. I am a little nervous because it has been so long since I have preached, but excited too. I am excited about what God is doing here. I feel like this first month is the Dominican is training and preparation for the 10 months to come. Pastor Gregorio is such an awesome man of God and has taught us to much… we spend most of our time with him doing door to door evangilism, practically daily church services, and praying for healing for the physically and emotionally sick. It has been amazing. I will write more when I have more time.
